The Top Five Songs each month will be reviewed by Dale Kawashima, Head of SongwriterUniverse and currently Executive Director at HoriPro Entertainment Group, an internationally-known music publishing company (with offices in Los Angeles, Nashville and Tokyo). HoriPro publishes the catalogs of KISS, REO Speedwagon, Marilyn Manson, Sophie B. Hawkins, the Byrds, Jerry Reed, plus many country hits. The Top Five Songs will be reviewed for consideration by HoriPro. Notably, three previous contest winners (Chloe Leighton, Matt Palmer and Sarah Lewis) have signed music publishing contracts with HoriPro as a result of being discovered in the contest.
